Swung


Swung is the UGA Swing Club performance troupe and has three purposes:

• To practice, choreograph, and perform pieces of swing dancing, which includes Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa (Bal-Swing), East Coast, and
•                West Coast
• To serve in an outreach capacity for the UGA Swing Club and help improve the swing community and social swing dancing in Athens
• To have fun

 
 
Membership
Membership is by invitation so, if you are interested, talk to one of the current members, show up to Swing Club and Swing Night regularly, and dance your feet off!

What can the troupe do for me?
If you are interested in having us perform for you, we would be delighted!  In addition to showing up to perform, we can also teach swing lessons and DJ a swing dance.  Please email Erik at kaastel dot gmail dot com if you are interested in having an awesome swing experience for your function, event, or meeting!
